This is the Col de la Chaux in Verbier. A view towards Mont Fort (on the left) and Bec des Rosses (on the right). It’s also a piece of the imagination, on the slopes I like to imagine the mountain with all the man made elements removed - the ski lifts, pylons, piste markers etc. Just the piste, the landscape, and ski tracks to imagine yourself in the picture. Oil painting on timber cradled panel. 61 x 45 x 2cm deep.

(also available as a limited edition fine art archival print here)
