The cyanotypes are all unique artworks created directly from nature in my garden, sometimes they capture wind or fleeting shadows. Each a moment captured in time. The natural colour of a cyanotype is blue but this has been bleached afterwards with sodium carbonate and toned again with coffee. A process where the image disappears and appears again, much like the shadows the images are about.
